Beyoncé really is feeling the love tonight. She’s just releasing a new single called Spirit written for Disney’s remake of The Lion King. Beyonce and Blue Ivy Carter twin at ‘The Lion King’ Premiere.

Queen B and her daughter Blue Ivy Carter step out in matching outfits at the live-action film The Lion King. So Beyonce lent her voice to the role of Nala who plays Simba’s love interest in the film. The Grammy-award winning singer walks the red carpet with her daughter dripping in diamonds at the world premiere of the film in Los Angeles.
Beyonce looks like a million bucks in a customised blazer gown by designer Alexander McQueen. She pairs this with matching diamond stud strappy heels. And jewellery by Lorraine Schwartz and a bedazzled clutch.
Her blazer dress end at her knees and tulle fabric with silver embellishment that show off her toned legs acted as the gown of the dress. So she opts for a dewy makeup look with bold smokey eyes and nude lips. But her hairstyle into delicate cornrows and pin away from her face to show off her glowing look.
Her daughter Blue Ivy Carter dress in a similar way in a black blazer gown with tulle for the gown. But the little one wore ballet flats and her hair was pulled back into two braid top knots that were adorned with silver jewellery.
Safe to say that the mother-daughter duo stole the show in their bold. And daring outfit choices. So we don’t think anybody else could have pulled off an outfit like this. And are loving Beyonce and Blue Ivy’s twinning moment at the red carpet of the film.

The megastar also announces that she’s dropping an album she co-produced and curate. So alongside the film’s release next Friday – which is separate to the film’s soundtrack.
The compilation, titled The Lion King: The Gift, will feature ‘new recordings’ by Queen Bey. But including ‘multi-genre symphonies’ and features from global artists, according to a statement.
In addition to The Gift, Walt Disney Records will release the original soundtrack. For the new live-action remake of The Lion King on July 11. It features “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” with Beyoncé and Donald Glover.

“This is sonic cinema,” says Beyoncé of the new album in a statement. “This is a new experience of storytelling. I want to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film. It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound. It influences by everything from R&B, pop, hip hop and Afro Beat.”
“I wanted to put everyone on their own journey to link the storyline,” she continues. “Each song was written to reflect the film’s storytelling that gives the listener a chance to imagine their own imagery.
Spirit, which Bey co-wrote along with IIya Salmanzadeh and Timothy McKenzie. It is an original composition that features on her album as well as the movie’s soundtrack. So speaking about her album, the Run The World singer said in a statement. ‘It was important that the music not only perform by the most interesting and talented artists.
But also produce by the best African producers. ‘Authenticity and heart were important to me’. But Yes Bey, and downloading Spirit and listening to it a thousand times is really important to us.
In a recent interview with Fandango, director Jon Favreau said that Beyoncé “perform and wrote [‘Spirit’] in the spirit of the production.” So he adds that Beyoncé made the song with Lebo M. and Hans Zimmer.
“They were all collaborating with her and helping to bring this new piece of music into a film. So where there’s already a very establish musical personality to the piece. So it was nice of them to have them working with her. To allow the new song to feel organically a part of the new production.

The track, which releases on Beyonce.com, features the lyrics: ‘Saying rise up to the light in the sky, yeah. Watch the light lift your heart up. Burn your flame through the night. ‘Spirit. So watch the heavens open, yeah. Spirit, can you hear it calling?’ We’re not going to lie. So it already sounds like something we’re going to harmonise badly to in the shower. Sorry, neighbours.

Just Announced: “The Lion King: The Gift,” a new album of songs featuring global recording artists and steeped in the sounds of Africa, produced and curated by @Beyonce Knowles-Carter, will be released July 19.
Beyoncé, who voices Nala in the Lion King, also sings Can You Feel the Love Tonight?. So alongside the voice of Simba, Donald Glover.
Meanwhile, the film’s soundtrack, produced by Hans Zimmer, features Sir Elton John as well as Pharell Williams. Seth Rogen who voices Pumbaa, his sidekick Billy Eichner as Timon, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who plays the villainous Scar.
Beyoncé voices Nala in the new The Lion King. So the cast also includes Donald Glover (as Simba), John Oliver (as Zazu). Eric André (as Azizi, one of the hyenas), Seth Rogen (as Pumbaa), and more. Billy, meanwhile, has been teasing just how good Bey is ahead of the film’s release.
The film hits U.S. theatres on July 19.
