He and his partner Georgina Rodriguez revealed in October (2021) that they were expecting twins. They posted on social media saying “Delighted to announce we are expecting twins. Our hearts are full of love, we can’t wait to meet you #blessed”.

Cristiano Ronaldo posted on Instagram on Monday announcing the death of his expected baby son. Posting on Instagram,  they said, “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.”

 The post, signed by Ronaldo and partner Georgina Rodriguez, continued “It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel”. He further added, ” We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support ”

Cristiano Ronaldo concluded the post by asking about privacy during a difficult time. He showed love to their dead son by saying, “Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”

Fans of Cristiano have been sending messages of support and condolences to the player’s family. Ronaldo rejoined Manchester United last year. And Manchester United’s official Instagram account commented: “Your pain is our pain. Sending love and strength to you and the family at this time”.

The 37-year-old Cristiano already has a four-year-old daughter and three other children with his wife Rodriguez.

Cristiano played on Saturday and scored his second hat trick of the season and the 60th of his career against Norwich.
