Newlywed Justin Bieber is having a tough time right now—and not because of his complicated feelings about his ex Selena Gomez after her hospitalization or dissatisfaction with his wife Hailey Baldwin and their life in Los Angeles.
It’s easy to forget that ultra-famous pop superstars really are just like us: they’re human. They have good days and bad days, too. Following reports that Justin Bieber was spotted weeping in a Harry Potter themed bar while visiting Universal Studios in Orlando with Hailey Baldwin, a source opened up to People about the 24-year-old’s difficult past few weeks.
“Justin has his up and down days like everyone else,” the source explained. “What he struggles with mostly is that he knows he is beyond blessed, but he has days when he feels empty and confused.”
This news is obviously difficult to hear, especially for Justin’s legions of devoted fans. But the source made sure to note that Justin is getting – and has previously received – the help he needs to address these feelings.
“He feels something is missing from his life that can’t be bought. It’s a missing feeling of happiness,” the source continued. “He is very much grateful for his amazing life and especially for Hailey. It’s difficult for him that he can’t just enjoy everything and feel happy. He has been in treatment for this before.”

People’s new report echoes what Us Weekly reported last month: that Bieber feels a bit empty. Getting married didn’t fulfill him, a source told Us then, and he just feels overwhelmed. “He has so much going for him but he doesn’t feel whole,” the source said.
Justin has dialed back on work over the past few years, as well. One of the reasons he’s wanted to slow down is to spend more time with this 21-year-old wife. According to another People source, Justin “doesn’t seem ready to record new music yet and keeps saying that he just wants to hang out with Hailey…Justin likes to just hang out, watch movies and chill.”
Justin is currently worth more $265 million, so, working doesn’t need to be his number one priority. For Hailey, though, whose modeling career is in its prime, she’s hungry for more work. This has caused “a few conflicts” for the newlyweds as Hailey “has a lot of energy and projects that she wants to do.”
It’s understandable that Justin needs to take some time to figure things out. He’s been working-in the public eye, no less-since he was just a kid. Hopefully, Justin is feeling better soon and enjoys his well-deserved “laid-back season of life.”
He’s been spotted getting decidedly emotional in public spaces on several occasions in recent months.
And Justin Bieber’s outpouring of emotion continued on Sunday, when he was spotted weeping as his new wife Hailey Baldwin comforted him during a trip to Universal Studios’ Harry Potter-themed bar Leaky Cauldron in Orlando, Florida.
The 24-year-old pop heartthrob was caught on camera burying his head in his hands as 21-year-old model Hailey sat opposite him while stroking the side of his face.
According to a source, the bar was cleared out by Sorry hitmaker Justin’s security team as he and Hailey ordered two drinks shortly after 11.15pm. The source said Canadian heartthrob Justin appeared ‘dishevelled and distressed’ as he tried to hide his tears beneath his white baseball cap.
‘We came into the Leaky Cauldron at the exact time as them so their security was in the process of moving people out,’ said the eyewitness. ‘They just walked in and sat down at a table while their security got to work. They ordered a couple of butterbeers.’
Back in July, Hailey was seen comforting Justin as he broke down in New York
This isn’t the first time Justin has been seen getting emotional recently. In July, he was seen carrying self-help book The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment with the Wisdom of God, weeks after he was spotted crying.
Explaining his emotional display alongside Hailey, Justin later told TMZ: ‘You got good days and you got bad days. The singer then waved the book in front of a photographer, saying, ‘This’, after being questioned about why he and Hailey and been so upset.
‘It’s not real if it doesn’t have any bad days,’ he added, suggesting that this was advice he had in fact gleaned from the tome in his hands. They tied the knot in a secret ceremony in September after a whirlwind romance. Now newlyweds Justin and Hailey reportedly want to spend as much time together as possible, even if that means working less.
However, their different approaches to their careers can lead to arguments, a source close to Justin told People recently. The pop star, who has already dialled back his work commitments, ‘doesn’t seem ready to record new music yet and keeps saying that he just wants to hang out with Hailey,’ the Sources said.
His beautiful blonde wife, 21, ‘actually seems more ready to work than he does. They have had a few conflicts about it,’ the source continued. ‘Justin likes to just hang out, watch movies and chill. Hailey has a lot of energy and projects that she wants to do.’
A source revealed that part of his resistance to work is because ‘he’s been on the go for a long time, and he’s enjoying a laid-back season of life’.
