Taylor Swift won the six awards at this year’s American Music Awards (AMAs). So taking her all-time total to 29. With this, Taylor Swift breaks the record of late pop king Michael Jackson’s record of 24.
Swift tie Jackson’s 24 awards when she won favourite pop/rock album. So during the broadcast and then moonwalk past him with the night’s top prize.
The 29-year-old star honour with the prestigious artist of the decade. And artist of the year accolades. So as well as a favourite artist – adult contemporary. Favourite album – pop/rock for Lover, a favourite music video for You Need To Calm Down. And favourite female artist – pop/rock, reports.

Swift has been embroiling in a high-profile feud with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta. She has earlier reveals that they are preventing her. From using her old music for the award show and a Netflix documentary.

While accepting the awards, Swift says, “The last year of my life has had some of the most amazing times. And also some of the hardest things I’ve gone through in my life. And not a lot of them are things that haven’t been public. I want to thank you so much for being the thing that has been constant in my life.”
“Like, this industry is really weird. You feel like your stock is either up or down. And people either like you or they don’t or you’re feeling bad about yourself. But the people that hang in there for you are the ones that you will never forget. This year for me has been a lot. It’s been a lot of good, a lot of really complicated. And so on behalf of my family and me. So thank you so much for being there and for caring,” the singer adds.

And strip down from her dress to a shiny bodysuit to finish the performance. With the upbeat song Look at Her Now. So as audience members, including country singer Kelsea Ballerini, sang along.
R&B singer Ciara, who is hosting the show airing live on ABC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, perform after Gomez.
Other performers include Shania Twain, Green Day, Jonas Brothers, Dua Lipa. And Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World.
Malone, who will perform with Travis Scott and Ozzy Osbourne, nominate for favourite male pop/rock artist, favourite rap/hip-hop artist. Favourite rap/hip-hop album for Hollywood’s Bleeding and favourite rap/hip-hop song for Wow. His massive hit with Swae Lee, Sunflower from the Oscar-winning animated film Spider-Man. Into the Spider-Verse, is up for favourite pop/rock song and collaboration of the year.
Lizzo, Eilish and Lil Nas X who also score six Grammy nominations are up for new artist of the year. But along with Ella Mai and Luke Combs.
