Forbes just releases their top 100 list of the world’s highest-paid celebrities. And who holds the number one slot may be shocking. Taylor Swift named World’s Highest-Paid Celebrity of 2019, Beating Kylie Jenner And Kanye West.

Earlier this year, the publication acknowledges Kylie Jenner for becoming the first self-made billionaire. So obviously, she’s also top of the list for highest-paid, right? Wrong. Taylor Swift claims the No. 1 spot for The World’s Highest-Paid Entertainers list. But don’t worry about Kylie Jenner, she is right behind her.

Forbes publishes the list noting that Swift’s earnings have hit a whopping $185 million. So The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star. But beauty business owner isn’t too far with a report $170 million in earnings. And Kanye West with $150 million.

Soccer star Lionel Messi came in fourth place ($127 million) whilst Ed Sheeran ($110 million) completes the top five.

So, how did the country artist turned pop star rack up so much money in the last year? A large chunk of it can attribute to The Reputation Stadium Tour. So Billboard Boxscore reports that it broke the record for highest-grossing tour. Coming in at $266.1 million in gross sales, and that’s just domestically. So Including the international run of the tour, Forbes clocks her gross earnings in at $345 million.

This isn’t the first time the 29-year-old has taken the throne as the highest-paid celebrity. So in 2016, Swift captures the first-place spot courtesy of The 1989 World Tour. Back then, she topped the list raking in a cool $170 million (same as Kylie’s 2019 earnings).

Swift‘s net worth $360 million 

While the “ME!” singer’s latest earnings come in at $185 million. So her net worth is reportedly much larger. So Business Insider has Swift’s net worth totalling about $360 million as of this month. The Eagles feature in the top 10, whilst radio and television personality Howard Stern. ‘Harry Potter’ author J.K. Rowling. And actor Dwayne Johnson all make the top 15.

Kim Kardashian West is at 26th on the list with $72 million. Robert Downey Jr. at 31st with $66 million whilst Rihanna made it to 36 with $62 million.

With the way things are going, Swift doesn’t seem like she plans on taking a break anytime soon. She releases two singles, “ME!” and “You Need To Calm Down”. But both off of her upcoming album “Lover” schedules to release later this summer. And, if she continues the trend. So Taylor Swift will also do a tour for her seventh studio album which will no doubt pull. In hundreds of millions more for the artist.

The youngest person of the top 100

Shawn Mendes is the youngest person in the top 100. At just 20-years-old. So the ‘If I Can’t Have You’ hitmaker scrap in at 98 on the list with $38 million. The oldest person on the list is Beatles’ legend Sir Paul McCartney, 77-years-old, at number 62 with $48 million.

Other celebrities to feature in the list were Beyoncé (no. 20 with $81 million), Ariana Grande (no. 62 $48 million), Jennifer Lopez ($43 million), Sofía Vergara ($43 million), Lady Gaga ( no. 90 $39.5 million) and Celine Dion ($37.5 million).

So Meanwhile, Taylor has less “stress and anxiety” in her life as she approaches 30.

She said: “I hear others say that one in his 30s no longer has as much stress. And anxiety in life as in my 20s. And I can join in the observation. That we are in our twenties looking to gain experience, try things out, fail, make mistakes.”
