Claire Danes has once again been gracing the TV screens this year, continuing to play Carrie Mathison in the hit American show Homeland. After wrapping up the filming of season seven at the end of March, the star took to Instagram to share a picture of a firework display, joking that now the cast and crew could finally take a nap. The star will no doubt be marking her birthday with husband Hugh Dancy and son Cyrus, whom she lives with in New York’s West Village.
Actress Saoirse Ronan turns 24
Fun fact: Ronan was born in New York but raised in Ireland.
It’s been an incredible 12 months for Saoirse Ronan following the successful release of comedy-drama Lady Bird, in which she played the lead role of feisty teenager Christine “Lady Bird” McPhearson. With eight months of the year still left to go, we just can’t wait to see what’s in store for Saoirse next!
Shannen Doherty turns 47
Shannen Doherty’s past year has luckily been far more positive than the previous few. She later clarified in a video posted on her Instagram that she had spoken to her doctor, and that her scan results were “still all clear”.
