Samsung has started teasing its upcoming Galaxy S-series smartphones (Galaxy S10 E, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+), which are slated to launch on February 20th in San Francisco. The first set of Galaxy S10 teasers are coming from Vietnam. Samsung’s marketing team in the country has shared three short videos for the handsets – each revealing different features that were already known to us through multiple leaks and rumours.
Display Size and Color
The S10e, the entry-level phone in the lineup, will have a 5.8-inch display, and will come in four colors: prism white, prism black, prism green, and canary yellow. (Notably, we got a glimpse of the very yellow color in a leaked image just days ago.)
Meanwhile, the flagship S10 will have a 6.1-inch display with Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass 6, and come in prism black, prism white, and prism green color varieties.
EXCLUSIVE! First look at Samsung Galaxy S10e Canary Yellow colour and S10 Series dimensions!

The largest S10+ will have a 6.3-inch display, also with Gorilla Glass 6, and will have two different color schemes. If you opt for 8GB of RAM your choices are the same prism black, prism white, and prism green as the regular S10. If you upgrade to 12GB of RAM you get a “luxurious ceramic” finish in either black or white. (This isn’t the first time the ceramic finish has cropped up, it was also rumored back in November.)
Samsung Vietnamese shared 3 official teasers on Youtube of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10. The video has revealed a few important features of the device. Here take a look at Samsung Galaxy S10 price in India.
Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
While terribly brief and mysterious, three fresh promotional videos seem to corroborate new and old rumors regarding key Galaxy S10 features. First, the in-display fingerprint scanner we’ve known about for several months now. Interestingly, the title and description of the otherwise generic clip specifically mention “ultrasound” technology, essentially confirming Samsung will be able to adopt a faster, more accurate method of “invisible” fingerprint recognition than many of its Android device-making rivals.
Reverse wireless charging
The second teaser video highlights the wireless charging technology and super fast charging support on the Samsung Galaxy S10. Previous leaks have suggested that the device will come with 15W fast technology with 9W reverse wireless charging support. The reverse charging will enable users to charge any another device from the Galaxy S10 smartphone when the device in question also supports wireless charging.
Apart from ultrasonic in-screen biometric authentication functionality, these teaser videos suggest the battery and cameras will also be crucial selling points of the S10 and S10+. As a side note, the lower-end, lower-cost Galaxy S10e is expected to come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which might be a big strategic error on Samsung’s part.
Front-facing camera with OIS and 4K video recording
Coming to the third teaser video, the Samsung Galaxy S10 will come with 4K video recording support through selfie camera. Well, not much groundbreaking features could be pointed out from the video but the past leaks have suggested that the device will feature a 10-megapixel dual front camera with Optical image stabilisation (OIS). It will also sport Full HD Super slow motion and HDR10+ video recording support.
Back to the battery and imaging features seemingly confirmed in Vietnam, these have actually been rumored not that long ago. The Galaxy S10 will apparently allow you to “share impressive wireless batteries”, a characteristic otherwise known as reverse wireless charging, while sporting a “4K camera with professional vibration.” That would have been a slightly harder nut to crack were it not for recent gossip of top-notch selfie camera prowess including 4K video recording abilities and optical image stabilization.
Coming towards the latest specification leak, GSMArena has posted a couple of images detailing the hardware of the Samsung Galaxy S10 family. The images, showcasing documents, allegedly detailing the specifications of the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e.
Most of the specifications of the Galaxy S10 lineup featured in the newly leaked documents are aligned with what was rumoured in the past. However, there are fresh details such as 800 nits of screen brightness and as many as 10 scene optimiser settings. The documents also highlight that there will be a facial recognition feature and a Dynamic AMOLED HDR+ panel based on the company’s Infinity-O Display design.
The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are found to have triple rear camera setups with 12-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/2.4, telephoto (45-degree) lens; 12-megapixel secondary sensor along with an f/1.5, wide (77-degree) dual aperture lens; and a 16-megapixel tertiary sensor along with an f/2.2, ultra-wide (123-degree) lens. The Galaxy S10e, on the other hand, appears to have the absence of the 16-megapixel tertiary sensor. For selfies, the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 are found to have a 10-megapixel sensor, paired with an f/1.9 lens. The Galaxy S10+, however, listed on the leaked document with a secondary 8-megapixel sensor to enable the Live Focus feature.
The Galaxy S10 E is expected to come with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage and pack a 3,100mAh battery. The Galaxy S10, on the other hand, will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage in the base model while the top-end configuration will have 8GB RAM and 512GB storage and there will be a 3,400mAh battery. The Galaxy S10+ is expected to start with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and higher end models will have option for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage. It is expected to be backed by a 4,100mAh battery.
In other news, a hands-on video has been shared on YouTube by retailer Mobile Fun to showcase the official cases of the Samsung Galaxy S10 family. The video shows Leather Cover and LED View Cover of the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e. It also suggests that the reverse wireless charging technology on the new models will be called Wireless PowerShare. Precisely, the LED View Cover of the Galaxy S10 models will cover the back, front, and sides and includes a pocket to hold the credit and debit cards.
While as far as the cost is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy S10 price in India is rumoured to be set at approximately Rs. 85,000 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model could be priced at roughly Rs. 1,05,000.
We need to wait until February 20 to see the official appearance of the Galaxy S10 family. Meanwhile, Samsung is likely to reveal new details through some teasers, and the rumour-mill is expected to continue to bring informal developments online.
